How the meeting goes

From check-in to the last round

Точная механика зависит от числа участников и кортов. Ведущий объявляет правила ротации перед стартом, чтобы каждый понимал порядок переходов. Другие способы начать играть, от первой игры до выбора площадки, собраны в разделе «Играть».

  1. 01

    Check in

We mark attendance, confirm levels and place the first pairs on courts.

  2. 02

    Warm up

A short playing warm-up helps you feel the ball, surface and your partners’ pace.

  3. 03

    Play rounds

Matches follow the announced format. The host manages the order and timing.

  4. 04

    Change combinations

Partners and opponents change according to the session system, so you can face different game situations during the evening.

We’ll find the nearest game for your level and schedule

Leave your contact details and tell us how long you’ve played, how many times a month you get on court and whether you’ve played tournaments. That makes it easier to suggest the right group.

Level

How do I know I’m ready for Open Play?

The main criterion is being able to start and sustain a rally independently. Shot speed and power are secondary.

Your serve lands in the correct box

You understand the diagonal serve and can start points consistently.

You understand the two-bounce rule

After the serve and return, you wait for the required bounces before volleying.

You know the kitchen

You understand the zone boundary and the volley rule at the net.

You can sustain a short rally

You can return the ball into the court several times and move after your shot.

Why play regularly?

Open Play reveals skills that only show up in matches

Different partners

You have to agree on middle balls faster, adjust the pace and understand the strengths of a new partnership.

Different opponents

One plays softly, another speeds up, a third pressures with the serve. Matches teach you to recognize styles and change decisions.

Score and pressure

Even a friendly score changes shot selection. You gain experience with close finishes, error streaks and recovering after losing a point.

Material for training

After a game, it is easier to give your coach a concrete task: weak return, late transition to the kitchen, high dink or lost pair positioning.

Open Play and training solve different problems

In training the coach selects a skill, creates a drill, gives you many repetitions and corrects technique.

In Open Play you make decisions independently, play for points and face different partner and opponent styles.

The best growth cycle is simple: training → match practice → review the problems that appeared → next training session.

First pickleball visit

For someone with no experience, it is better to start with an introductory session. The coach will show the rules, basic ball contact and playing positions, making the move to club play easier to understand.

Frequent questions

Can I come on my own?

Yes. The host forms the first pairs and manages rotation throughout the session.

What level do I need?

For Open Play, you should understand the serve, the two-bounce rule, the kitchen, basic scoring and be able to sustain a short rally.

How are players matched?

Before booking, we ask about your experience, how often you play and tournament practice. During the session, the host can adjust pairs to the actual pace of play.

How many matches will I get to play?

The number of rounds depends on the event length, number of courts, participants and rotation system. The terms for each session are published in its announcement.

What should I bring?

Sportswear, water and stable court shoes. Availability of club paddles and balls for a specific session is confirmed when you book.

What to write on the application

Specify the experience, the goal, the number of participants and the time you want. You don't need to know the name of the right product: the team will match the task with the first game, training, Open Play or closed-door.

How to choose the format

First, you check the initial situation, then you check the site, the level of the group, the duration and availability of the specialist, and the solution is based on the task, not on the most expensive tariff

When the recording is confirmed

The entry is confirmed after the date, time, site, composition of the service and cost are reported. The form sent does not guarantee a place until the organizer has checked availability

What will happen after confirmation

You will receive instructions on arrival, clothing, shoes and equipment, and for the first visit, your own racket and a pre-detected partner are usually not necessary
